Brett Morreau is a Canadian music composer, director, writer, producer, and sound editor/designer of Métis (French and Indigenous) descent. Brett began learning piano at the age of 6, working his way through the piano performance program at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada by the time he graduated high school. Furthering his music training, Brett graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition, followed by post-grad training in Film Scoring at UCLA. He has composed music and completed post sound work on several projects that have played at festivals and streaming services around the world, winning several awards in those capacities. He has written, directed, and produced a handful of short films over the past two years that are also currently available to stream on several platforms.
