Breaking Bad, Season Six, Episode One - Descent
Jesse Pinkman (42, full head of hair) leads an idyllic life. His beautiful wife and daughter know him as Virgil Driscoll, a faithful husband, loving father and dedicated worker at a factory in Colorado. But, unable to resist the lure of easy success, his actual job is cooking meth that his old friend, Badger Mayhew, sells.
Jesse’s dealers warn that the cartel demands they increase production of the blue meth. At church, Jesse sees a strange couple who seem familiar and appear to be following him.
At a meeting in a quaint ski village, Jesse intends to spy as Badger turns down an offer from the cartel. The cartel does not show. Instead, Brock Cantillo and Marie Schrader come to kill Jesse. But they are unaware of the nearby super-volcano eruption that will immediately end civilization and most life on Earth.
As the volcanic ash moves out from the epicenter and overruns the quaint mountain town, panic ensues. Jesse and the drug dealers run for their lives. Jesse finds refuge in a cave and looks out on the Hellscape, regretting he ever chose career over family.
Months later, out of food and firewood, Jesse emerges from the cave to traverse a bleak apocalypse. He subsists on pipe water and old food he scavenges from houses.
After finding a note from his daughter, he awakens to a horde of savages demanding his weapons.
A battle ensues. Many lie dead and an old man pleads for his life. When he calls Jesse by his real name, Jesse realizes he’s pointing his rifle at Walter White.
