Director Biography - Bobby Alarcon

Bobby Alarcon is a composer for film, conductor, and pianist. Following the musical tradition of his American heroes including Leonard Bernstein, Bernard Hermann, Aaron Copland, and Stephen Sondheim, Bobby’s music freely embraces and blends a variety of musical styles that has come to be the defining feature of his unique aesthetic. He loves finding creativity through a diversity of hands-on experiences and can often be found behind the camera, experimenting with as many art forms as possible when not composing at the piano. Bobby completed his Bachelors in Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in May 2023, and in August 2023, Bobby will be continuing his studies of music for film, television, and video games at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.

Director Statement

"Breached" was my total passion project; a film directed by a film composer and made by musicians, in an effort to challenge ourselves and give the music written therein its own unique narrative. The most miraculous part of this project was the sheer number of peers who not only believed in my vision, but joined me for the ride. It's an honor to share this film with you.
