Experiencing Interruptions?

Brazil's Eucalyptus Invasion.

An approximately 30 minute documentary on the environmental and social devastation of industrial eucalyptus tree plantations in Brazil, and the fight by Indigenous Peoples and traditional communities for land sovereignty.

Description
Fast growing eucalyptus trees are not native anywhere in Latin America.

In Brazil this documented invasive species is planted by pulp and paper companies in vast industrial tree plantations. These plantations deplete fresh water from the environment and native forests are clearcut to make way for more eucalyptus plantations which are know as "green deserts."
