Boundaries

This experimental documentary explores an intense dream of breaking away from the forces of boundaries to create an alternative way of being, to connect the body and soul to nature. At the core of it is a recognition of human beings' desire to belong and find a sense of home wherever that might be.
The film alternates between lived experiences, dreams, and imaginations through a creative assemblage of images, birds chirping, poetry, music, song, and an artwork by contemporary Tibetan artist Tenzin Jigme.

Director Biography - Tsering Wangmo

Tsering Wangmo is a filmmaker of Tibetan origin, born and raised in India. She completed her graduate program in documentary film production at NYU. Currently, she is based in St. Louis, Missouri and pursuing her PhD studies in anthropology at Washington University.
