The Power of Music & Film: Introducing 'Body Stories: Marta & Fidel'
Welcome to 'Body Stories: Marta & Fidel' 🎶
Hi everyone, I’m Mariluz Guerra, indigenous Kankuama woman and independent filmmaker. Music has been a part of my life since childhood, shaping who I am today. I know firsthand the joy it can bring, but also the challenges that musicians face in today’s demanding industry. Anxiety, self-doubt, and the pressure to succeed can often overshadow the passion that drives us. That’s why our latest film, "Body Stories: Marta & Fidel," is so close to my heart.
This movie tells the story of Marta, an aspiring singer, and Fidel, a music producer battling anxiety. It’s a powerful portrait of two artists navigating their inner struggles and the industry’s harsh realities. In a world where musicians are expected to be perfect, "Body Stories: Marta & Fidel" serves as a reminder that there’s hope, even in the darkest times.
We created this film as a beacon of hope for emerging musicians and artists, reminding them (and all of us) to reconnect with our passion and humanity. This more relevant now than ever.

Mariluz Guerra is an indigenous Kankuama woman from a small city of Colombia -Valledupar- with really warm weather, cold tap water and late December's seasons of strong winds that inspired her searching through the audiovisual arts. Through her creative work she recognizes the inner shadows and lights for the inner and outer harmony which is the most important work of each human being. With this paradigm Mariluz can share different forms of self and collective expression through the Healing Cinema, always searching for better ways to support changes in the detrimental beliefs of our society. Always towards the light.
Delivering movies with a focus on emotional wellbeing (healing cinema), defined by us as audiovisual expressions intended to bring peacefulness, awareness and self reflection among the audiences, extended to our communities.
