SeoJin Park is a South Korean filmmaker currently residing in between Tokyo and Chicago. He was born in South Korea and moved to Japan in 2014. He now attends DePaul University in Chicago, studying film production. SeoJin’s films are characterized by emphasis on emotional intimacy through striking, yet comforting minimalist visuals.
Blue Remedy is the first of a trilogy of short films that will take the audience through first love and its set of unintended consequences.
Blue Remedy intends to capture the poignancy of juvenile first love as if it were a lightning in a bottle.
The second film, Fleeting Strays, explores the process of letting go of your first love.
The final film, Silent Sonder, will explore the process of moving into adulthood.
