Windblown

Our story takes place in a seemingly infinite world, elusive in both space and time, centered around two islands rising from a sea of fog between them. On these islands, which appear lonely and isolated from afar, two men spend their days. Byron lives on the green, lush island teeming with plants and streams, while Bear resides on the massive, barren rock opposite him. They live in mutual dependence. Their islands are connected by an endless rope, which allows the two men to help and send each other supplies. This is an unwritten agreement between them, which they strive to fulfill to the best of their abilities every day. Byron provides his neighbor with food, drink, wood, berries, plants, and other essential materials for life, while Bear, lacking similar natural resources, expresses his gratitude through small handmade sculptures.
Throughout the film, we gain insight into the intertwined fates and metaphorical presence of these two islands and the two men who inhabit them.
