Blossoming Hearts
Aiji, 25, is a professional companion-paid to provide friendship with strict boundaries: no sex, no money lending, and no emotional entanglements. When he meets Adam, a 27-year-old high-powered businessman starved of real human connection, the lines between professionalism and desire begin to blur.

Blossoming Hearts was a mixture of inspirations from different cultures and tidbits of information I got from friends in the LGBTQ+ community, mixed with the idea of friendship. The line between a good friendship and a relationship is fragile, with many believing that they are the same. This film explores that to the extreme. It takes a man's understanding of love and challenges the terms of the relationship to the extreme, where feelings aren't supposed to be involved. The pacing of the film with the dialogue was extremely important to me, and I hope it translates into a good short film that you hopefully feel.
Enjoy,
Naps
