Blood Trail

Tormented by the brutal slayings of his police partner and his fiancée, a troubled homicide cop Zeke Makowski must team up with his estranged father, a retired detective, to track down a serial killer, baptized the Butcher, who mysteriously resurfaces after 30 years. Following the killer’s blood trail, Zeke and his old man must navigate through the murky world of the C.I.A. which employed the Butcher to terminate a terrorist cell plotting a bio-chemical attack on a major U.S. city. Zeke and his father ramp up their investigation when they discover evidence left behind by the Butcher that his next target is the Catholic Pope. The emotional manhunt culminates in a bloody showdown where only one will survive – the divine-inspired serial killer who has never been caught or the boozy homicide cop who is at the end of his rope.
