The son of a combat Marine and a school teacher, Robert Flowers is a Mexican American an award winning filmmaker and a USA Today best selling author (pen name). His journey in film and TV began while in school in Holland when his class was tasked with making a commercial for the local radio station. After that experience he attended Chapman University’s Dodge College film school.
He is recommended writer on the Blacklist website and was part of a Emmy award winning production on PBS called The Latest Procedure. When he's not writing and directing, Robert is filming surgeries in operating rooms all over the United States. Robert is very proud that he's never fainted at the sight of blood... Except his own, which he learned the hard way.
Robert has also added 3D animation and Real Time filmmaking to his skill set. He resides in Los Angeles preparing his next project and book.
This my first foray into horror and its based on a real life experience of needing money so badly that I went to a facility to sell my plasma, and they gave me 75 bucks for it, which let me fill up my car with gas. But in the process I thought I was going to die because they had the settings turned up pretty high, and I nearly blacked out. I really felt like I was going to bleed out. It was such a bizarre experience sitting there, and everyone else treating it like a normal thing. Selling your life for money. Trading life force for cash...That's the tone and inspiration for the style and story of Blood Money.
