Besides doing professional acting work with SAG/AFTRA and AEA, he ran his own cable television show, Dave Gold Show, at MNN (Manhattan Neighborhood Network for 20 years producing over 600 shows! On it he performed many of his own plays, skits, and screenplays along with fellow collaborators. He also worked behind the scenes in the aforementioned areas. Recently Dave has produced his own short films most notably Foxhole, Deranged Foxhole, 80 Gold Coins and Twenty Twenty. They've received considerable positive reviews. Before coming to NYC, Dave spent eleven years in Los Angeles honing his craft, studying with a Lee Strasberg protege, Fred Dennis. It was while studying with Fred that Dave began his writing which helped him improve as an actor and vice verse. Dave has all of his writings on Amazon Books/Dave Sweeney which includes over 50 publications. Plays, Screenplays and Poem Anthologies. He continues to move forward with hope that the best is still to come.
Blood Fear is a swerve away from 2020 as the Dystopian forces from the future keep trying to destroy Dave Slade. His band aid is Old Man who shows him the way to save another day! That man don’t play!
