Blind Date

"Blind Date" is a dating story set in a bar, starring Anna and Savva. It would be perfectly normal if they weren't both blind. So it is a blind date between two blind people! It is a strange and almost unexpected story of chance encounter while exploring the intentions of the protagonists, their imperfections , their expectations and their beliefs. Through the conversation, two big secrets are revealed, leading the whole story into a "roller coaster" of emotions. In the finale their defences fall and the secrets are revealed bringing the catharsis they both want.

Director Biography - SOFIA ASTERIOS DIAGA

Sofia Diaga was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She was among the first graduates of the School of Arts of Thessaloniki and furthered her studies at the Ionian University of Corfu, where she earned an integrated Master's degree in Audio Visual Arts. Sofia also holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (UOTH).

Throughout her career, Sofia has worked as an actor, director, and cinematographer across a wide range of theatrical productions, films, and television shows. In addition to her practical work, she continues to share her expertise by teaching cinematography at an Art School, where she has been actively involved for the past two years. Her awarded short film Magenta marked her debut as both the main director and writer, showcasing her talent in contemporary cinema.
