Abigail Brannon is a student at the University of Kentucky, where she is studying Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies with a minor in Media Arts and Studies. She is currently completing a certificate in International Film Studies at the university. While she has a passion for fiction films, she also enjoys creating documentaries and telling stories about real people. Her documentary, 'Beyond The Voice,' has won many awards in recent years, and she is always looking for a new story to tell.
This film came to me when I was struggling to come up with an idea for my senior capstone project. As a young filmmaker, it is hard to stand out against big names, and coming up with a new idea is even harder. I hope this film relates to young filmmakers who struggle with trusting themselves when working on creative projects.
