Experiencing Interruptions?

Black Warrior of Pyramid Lake

A mutilated corpse - a gruesome murder-execution - dangles in a tree high above two American Indian gangbangers beating the shit out of two rival gang members.

Once caught, Oneida Indian FBI Agent Megan Little Valley interrogates the Indian thugs while disgraced NYC police officer Richie Eccles - a burnout white-boy who grew up on the Rez - fights with tribal cops.

PARENTAL ADVISORY: As the opening sequence of our multi-award winning feature length psychological thriller screenplay, this short film uses dark comedy ("Rez Humor") and strong language to explore provocative issues surrounding contemporary American Indian existence, gang violence, and Native Nazism. Although our hope is to explore these issues theatrically and find positive ways to overcome them, this depiction may trigger sensitive viewers.

"Black Warrior" was produced in collaboration with Native American cast and crew members and little support from outside entities. We are thankful for the amazing volunteer efforts of our local artistic and tribal communities!
