Director Biography - Emran Gado

Emran Gado is an Egyptian independent filmmaker. He began his career with the 2019 film “Shall I?“, an exploratory work that delves into profound human issues through an innovative artistic lens. In 2024, he followed up with his second film, *Black Is Not a Color*, continuing his exploration of identity and societal contradictions with a unique visual perspective.

Gado is self-taught in the arts of writing and directing, distinguished by his ability to blend these skills with various visual arts to create distinctive cinematic and artistic experiences
