Bittersweet Tears

BITTERSWEET TEARS (KUA MUAG IAB) is a romantic comedy about a vengeful and bittersweet love between Gaomao (Jenny Lor) and Vong (Beng Hang). Gaomao swears vengeance on Chong Yee Yang (Billy Yang), the man who is responsible for the loss of her parents. She meets Vong, the only son of Chong Yee Yang, and helplessly falls for his charms. Will Gaomao be able to overcome her own heart and take her revenge?

Kelly Vang is a filmmaker and the founder of Zela Entertainment Group, LLC based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). Zela Entertainment Group also owns Hmong Films Entertainment and its website hmongfilms.com. Her past works as a producer, writer, director, and cinematographer included the following features: Timeless Love part 1 (2005), Timeless Love part 2 (unreleased), Bittersweet Tears/Kua Muag Iab (2011/2023), Breaking Silence (tbd, post-production).
