Birdie Will Finally Fly

Birdie Will Finally Fly is a film about the dreamers inside each and every one of us — the one’s who aspire, fail, and succeed. I wrote the story as a personal reflection on the role of being an obsessed artist in the society, and the journey I took in order to slowly find ways to achieve my dreams in that society. Challenges came along the way as I continue to pursue my passion for film, some of which are not as avoidable as the other obstacles. Through the story, I want to show how everyone is capable to dream high and dream big, even if challenges come along the way. This will only happen if a dreamer lowers his/her ego, then the dreamer allows other people to help in achieving the aspirations. I wanted to find a creative way of implementing all the themes I wanted to convey through the use of several objects and story elements in the film. This film was made with my fellow filmmaker friends in mind to play the roles and thankfully, having these trusted people hop on the journey in creating this film made the entire experience memorable and enjoyable.
