Aidan Guynes is a writer & director based in Philadelphia. As a filmmaker, his work seeks to bring new perspectives to audiences. Unusual characters, mundane moments, and fantastical elements are inserted into the narratives of his films to challenge the viewer’s established perceptions. Aidan is a graduate of Temple University’s film program with a BFA in Film Directing.
His recent short films Untitled Floating Mom Short (2023), Meaningless! (2023), and SQUATTER (2022), while distinct in structure and style, have delved into existentialist themes and questions. Aidan is also writing his debut feature, The Search of Broken Eyes, which he hopes to produce in the near future.
Outside of his narrative work, Aidan also directs and edits commercials and music videos, bringing his distinct taste and perspective into diverse modes of storytelling.
