Director Biography - Faisal Hamza

Faisal Hamza (he/him) is an Iraqi-Australian actor, filmmaker, writer, and emerging engineering dropout from Perth (Boorloo). He is now based in Sydney (Eora), where he is a third year acting student at NIDA. He features in the upcoming ABC series, House of Gods. He has previously directed and written comedy-dramas for theatre. He enjoys sharing stories that explore the funny and the thoughtful in unexpected situations, and hopes to explore more stories of his slightly odd, slightly intense experiences growing up as an Arab Australian. He also wishes to state on behalf of his Mum that he is technically on approved leave and can return to his engineering degree whenever he likes.
