Beyond Wonderland @ Estivales de Comberge

After his first breakthrough project in 2001, a dystopian film called NEKROPOLICE directed in London with James De Carteret and which tackled the never-ending conflict between the forces of good and evil, a new vision then sees the light in 2012, under the name of HYPNOESIS [Sleep and Awakening].

A great work in terms of video editing, Hypnoesis re-assembled messages and symbols from the world of advertising, entirely filmed on the streets of London, and got completed with Paolo Carnevali’s ground-breaking soundtracks and stunning melodies.

The feature length documentary, 5 years in the making, will convey a surreal depiction of the system, an alchemical cocktail of thoughts, vision and perception through the realm of corporations, and which would few years later become the foundation for Mickaël’s visionary art gallery in France, a magical place called WONDERLAND.

The gallery will inspire Mickaël for producing a new music video in 2018 : "Il était une fois" (Once upon a time), introducing the mythical White Rabbit on screen, interpreted here by fashion model Maëla Vidal, all dressed in white and walking on the “Beat of the White Rabbit”.

In 2019, Mickaël releases a new project with 3 friends from the jazz, blues, roots and electro scene: BEYOND WONDERLAND, a fusion between experimental theatre and mystical experience, performing for the first time at the Jade in Pornic, during an Easter weekend and under the full moon, Friday 19th of April.
