Winner: Best VFX for a feature film
I´m an army veteran, self taught director, producer and VFX artist with a Masters in Computer Engineering from Portugal. I am self taught in the areas of directing, photography, VFX and Prop-making.
From the DIY props to the self taught, one man VFX team, making BEST COP EVER was a wild zero budget adventure, fueled solely by the sheer willpower of three computer engineering students determined to make a movie that would stand out, despite all odds.
Behind every scene in this movie was sleepless nights and days on non-stop filming, the roadtrips to every location, the workshopping and against the clock preparation of sets, the endless hauling of gear, and most of all, a chaotic filmmaking adventure that bleeds into this crazy fever dream of a movie.
