"Behind the Pink Door" is a dramatic short film that follows Mia, a 19-year-old, naive girl who is drawn into the world of Beta Pi Delta, a sorority that seems to offer her everything she has ever wanted. But as she delves deeper into the sorority's traditions and secrets, she realizes that everything is not what it seems.

The initiation process is not just a harmless ritual but a twisted game of power and manipulation, where the girls are pushed to their limits and beyond.

As Mia pledges and struggles to fit in and make sense of her new reality, the audience is taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Bea del Pozo, born and raised in Leon, Spain, has always had a passion for storytelling and the power of cinema to evoke strong emotions in audiences.

Her ultimate goal as a filmmaker is to create movies that make people feel something. She believes that cinema has the power to change lives, and she wants to use her talents to tell stories that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impression.

She wants to tell stories that reflect the human experience and that will connect with people on a personal level.

Director Statement

As the director of "Behind the Pink Door," my goal is to create a visually stunning and emotionally resonant film that sheds light on the disturbing reality of hazing and abuse in college sororities.
I want to make a film that is not just entertaining, but one that would challenge the audience to think critically about the culture of hazing in our society.

The character of Mia is the heart of the story. She represented the many students who go through hazing and are left traumatized by the experience. I wanted to explore the emotional journey of someone who was initially excited to join a sorority but soon realized the dark reality of what was happening behind closed doors, and show the psychological warfare that takes place during hazing and how it affects the mental health of students.

"Behind the Pink Door" is a film that I am deeply proud of, and I hope that it will inspire viewers to think about this issue and take action to create a safer and more supportive campus culture.
