Behind the Door

Saba Ghasemi is an award-winning Iranian filmmaker living in London. Her films are intimate, visual, and poetic — shaped by memory, emotion, and the everyday life of ordinary people. Trained in cinema and dramatic literature in Tehran and London, she works independently across fiction and documentary, with international festival recognition. She also collaborates on features, series, and theatre as a production designer, costume designer, script supervisor, and still photographer. Cinema is her language, and she continues to create.
