Beerocracy is an independent feature documentary on the New Brunswick craft brewing industry. We funded it through a successful Indiegogo campaign in 2016 that raised $10,000.
Our film tells the story of how the craft brewing industry in NB is growing, its potential for job creation, as a tourism driver, and an economic growth tool, but also what challenges could prevent the growth (old post-prohibition government policies and complex policy structure).
We also speak with key players in the neighbouring industries in Nova Scotia and Maine on where they are at in the race to be the east coast craft beer destination. It provides great discussion points such as starting your own business, government regulation, and addressing topics that those in power don't want discussed.
