Director Biography - Liesel Kopp

A Los Angeles native, Liesel received a B.A. in Theater from UCLA and currently works as an actress and freelance video producer/creator.

ACTING
After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in Theater, Liesel became involved in LA’s 99-seat Equity-waiver theater scene. Her credits include Alice in The Things We Do (visiting production at The Odyssey), Elaine Harper in The Odyssey Theatre’s Arsenic and Old Lace, Tipper Gore in Porn Rock (Hollywood Fringe Festival), holographic newscaster of the future Scarlett West in The Rising, (Hollywood Fringe Fest), and Jennifer in the award-winning Katy and Jennifer (Hollywood Fringe Fest). At Sacred Fools she performed in Serial Killers, View of the Dome, Midnight Brainwash Revival, Valparaiso, and in the Clive Barker plays Frankenstein in Love and Crazyface. With Moving Arts she appeared in multiple one-act festivals and new plays.

On TV she’ll soon be seen in HBO's upcoming Chris Mundy/Damon Lindelof DC Universe drama series Lanterns, and she's also appeared in Shrinking, Why Women Kill, One Day at a Time, Sydney to the Max, Masters of Sex, Parenthood, Men of a Certain Age, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

She played a hopeful speed dating candidate opposite Ben Affleck in Amazon/MGMs The Accountant 2, and was featured in multiple film trailers and promos. She’s also appeared in several indie features including the upcoming feature Roses on the Vine, and the cult films Die-ner (Get It?) and Entrance.

She voiced multiple characters in the iHeartRadio podcast The Murder Years starring Gabrielle Carteris, and dubbed multiple incidental characters on Season 2 of Netflix's Blood Coast. She also performed the lead character Vanessa in the cult zombie doll film Doll of the Dead.

She recurs in all 10 episodes of PBS’s Hello! Hi! How Are You?, and she also co-hosted the comedic/educational children’s YouTube series The Adventures of Mr. Clown, both created by Tom Caltabiano, an Emmy Award-winning former writer/producer of Everybody Loves Raymond. For Mr. Clown, she improvised and performed alongside special guests such as Ray Romano, Allison Janney, Camryn Manheim, and Phil Rosenthal.
