Private Project

The film documents an education project across countries and disciplines. 40 architecture students and apprentices in the construction industry from Germany and Israel construct and design a pavilion in Berlin, which they realize six months later in Tel Aviv.

Students of architecture learn from apprentices and vice versa. The ideas of the Bauhaus of learning all the crafts are being implemented here.
The Bauhaus ideas are shared, positively seen legacy of both countries, Germany and Israel. A common expression between countries and work fields is being found.

The building that emerges is the wooden outline of a simple house, tipped overhead, situated on the premises of Tel Aviv University.

The building was dismantled a few months after its construction. Work relationships and friendships among participants persist.

Initiators are Robert Huber and Peter Winter, zukunftsgeraeusche GbR who also lead the workshop.
