Director Statement

Instead of waiting for everything to get back to normal during this slog of a year (2020), an old idea for a film was reworked as a one-man-band situation.

"Bask" was originally written with 5 characters and a crew in mind, but a story centred around isolation and a loose grip on reality made it a fitting piece to make alone.

It wasn't the most comfortable of shoots for several reasons, ranging from focus pulling to bug bites, but it was a damn sight better than no shooting at all.
