Born in Chur (Switzerland), lives in Lausanne. Universities of Zürich, Wien, Lausanne, Master of arts.
She worked as a teacher, translator, image editor (with Nicolas Bouvier), theatre director, photographer and film director. All her activities are about pictures and language which have always fascinated her. After some years of painting, she began to photograph and then to make documentary films.
