Bahuroopi
When stuck in a village with two orphan brothers, a criminal on the run, must keep his identity hidden from the brothers and the police until the curfew is over, in order to escape permanently.
Through this film, I intend to provoke introspection and empathy in the audience, making them aware of the universal human experience that transcends geographical boundaries.

Manthan Mese, a passionate filmmaker hailing from India, draws profound inspiration from his rural upbringing and agricultural roots, fueling his fervent dedication in showcasing the authentic narratives of his cultural heritage.
His profound commitment to storytelling and regional cinema spurred him to embark on a cinematic journey, driven by a resolute ambition to unveil genuine narratives that mirror the vibrant and varied cultural mosaic of India. Mese's creative odyssey is distinguished by his unwavering determination and an indefatigable work ethic, steadfastly rooted in a desire to encapsulate the essence of the land and its people through the evocative medium of film.
Assuming the mantle of an ambassador for the underrepresented voices of rural India, Mese ardently endeavors to amplify and exalt the rich tapestry of his homeland through his cinematic creations. With a harmonious fusion of traditional storytelling and innovative cinematic expression, Mese aspires to offer audiences an immersive, unadulterated cinematic experience that pulsates with the vivacity and diversity of India's regional narratives.
As the director of the short film "Bahuroopi," my vision is to capture the essence of a regional story from rural parts of India. Through this film, I aim to create an emotional journey that explores the depths of human emotions and how they influence the choices we make.
"Bahuroopi," which translates to "The Multi-faceted," is a metaphorical representation of the many different roles we play in our lives. Set against the backdrop of a remote village, the film delves into the lives of its three individuals, highlighting their lifestyle, personalities and desires.
At the heart of the narrative lies the exploration of various emotions - fear, loss, love, envy, and hope - and how they shape our actions. Through the intricately woven stories of different characters, we witness the complexity of human nature and its impact on the choices that dictate our destiny.
"Bahuroopi" aims to engage the viewers emotionally, urging them to reflect on the choices they make in their own lives and the profound impact they can have on their own destiny. By portraying the significance of human emotions in our decision-making process, this film serves as a reminder of the power we hold to shape our own lives and the lives of those around us.
