Director Biography - Aidan Mazerolle

Born in Ottawa and raised in the GTA, Aidan is a budding writer and filmmaker based in Ottawa. Recently graduated from Carleton University Communications and Media Studies program with a minor in Film Studies, and currently enrolled in Film and Media production at Algonquin College, Aidan has been passionate about bringing his ideas to the screen for his entire life. After first making short YouTube videos at a young age, and writing and producing short films during high school and university, he has honed his stylistic and formal methods through rigorous film scholarship and practical exercise.

Director Statement

This is my first short made at Algonquin College in their first class of Film and Media Production students. It was made in a very short time frame under COVID-19 protocols, and I’m extremely proud of the crew for coming together to make it work.
