Babe's tale

Attractive Nadja enjoys her seemingly perfect life. Boys adore her, friends are submissive to her and Nadja carelessly exploits others, seeing only herself. When her ex-boyfriend commits suicide, shaken Nadja realizes she needs to withdraw from her surroundings and escape from Ljubljana. She leaves behind many wet dreams and broken hearts of her admirers.

Director Biography - Leon Pučnik

After appearing in some big television series as an actor (Gospod profesor), he decided to direct his first short film "Babe's tale" after graduating from the multimedia faculty.

Director Statement

Think about your childhood days, the stories passed down from person to person: those urban legends about the lonely man on top of the block or the popular cheerleader in school. They all had different stories, depending on who you talked to. You never knew if they were true or not - hell, you kind of didn't even care - it's that you knew them and then you could tell them yourself to other unsuspecting listeners. This oral history is the idea behind my directorial debut.
