B.S. Pradeep Varma is an Indian film director, lyricist, and screenwriter.He is most predominantly known for the 2017 film Urvi.
Urvi is the first ever Kannada film to get officially nominated in the top 6 best feature film at LAFA (Los Angeles Film Awards).
Urvi won its award at New York City Indie Film Festival Best Feature Film 2017.
Urvi also won a Filmfare award for best Antagonist Female.
He is also known for his short films like Chakori and Marasim ( a Hindi Short Film) Chakori which opened up to be critically acclaimed bagging a special jury award at Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival Noida and a finalist at film-skillet international film festival Santa Barbara, while Marasim Won at Filmsaaz and got nominated at First time film makers Award.
He is currently working on a Kannada feature, ‘Murphy’. This will be completed by the end of this year.
