Blind Optimism
Alan is a young teenager who suffered from a toxic waste accident when he was 8 that left him blind. Through his extensive knowledge of superheroes, he is convinced that he will develop superpowers on his 18th birthday as this accident had all the makings of the classic superhero origin story. He struggles to come to grips with his reality and the possibility that his powers may not come to fruition.

Jesse Lin is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He studied BA Songwriting & Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, MA Applied Imagination at Central Saint Martins, MA Directing at Drama Centre London, and Acting at Stella Adler Academy.
