Julieta Grattier Stalker (also known as Hurra) is an Argentine filmmaker and visual artist based in Santa Fe. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the National University of the Litoral (UNL). Since 2017, her practice has focused on experimental cinema, video art and analogue photography. Her work explores the relationship between inner worlds, nature and sensorial experience. Her first short film, A Sweet Death (2024), won the UNL Young Art Biennial and has been screened at international festivals.
My work moves between experimental cinema, video art and analogue photography. I am interested in fragile forms of perception: slowness, contemplation and the subtle links between inner experience and the natural world. I approach images as spaces for listening rather than representation, allowing time, sound and texture to shape meaning. Through minimal gestures and sensorial atmospheres, my practice seeks to create elegiac encounters—small acts of attention in a world that increasingly resists stillness.
