Director Biography - Wilson Fábio Godofredo

Graduated in Marketing from UAM, MBA in International Marketing, MBA in Marketing, Branding, and Growth from PUC-RS.

A professional with over 20 years of experience in the fields of design, branding, advertising, and marketing. He has been present in more than 8 countries, where he was able to conduct market analysis, develop communication projects, and provide consultancy. He has participated in projects for various national and international environmental organizations with a focus on water themes.

He works as an International Marketing Consultant and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Águas do Brasil Magazine and the Diálogo Magazine of the São Paulo Forum of River Basin Committees. He is responsible for the branding and social media management of CBH-AP, CBH-MP, with work for various Brazilian river basin committees and national and international sector events. He is also part of the Legacy Citizen Forum team of the 8th World Water Forum.

He has a socio-environmental commitment where he serves as a Marketing Consultant for the Association of Social Carbon Credit Producers of the Caatinga Biome. He was also a volunteer in Africa and the Middle East, where he continues to contribute to development projects in vulnerable communities.

Director Statement

The creation of this documentary was inspired by my passion for the lush nature in the Serra da Mantiqueira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, where I have lived for 4 years. It was also driven by the urgency to address the critical environmental crisis in the region where our springs and streams serve as sewage in rural areas. The theme of water is part of my life because water is life.
