Experiencing Interruptions?

Art House

An unassuming couple looking for some art-house entertainment is immersed into a film experience like nothing before.

Upon entering into a dimly lit and neglected art house movie theater, an equally eccentric couple begin suspecting there might be something dark lurking behind the grungy quirks of this theater and its staff.
The girlfriend, Jamie, and her hesitant boyfriend, Syd, take their seats in the theater while screams and action from trailers on the screen resonate in the room. The two are separated when one of the employees lures her out by way of a convenient accident. Syd, impatient and growing nervous, eventually seeks her out but is inevitably lured into the same trap.
He wakes up dazed and confused in a grimy den-like room, where the true nature of the theater's hosts is revealed: giant rat-humanoid creatures who have been luring patrons into their nest.
Syd escapes alone but stumbles into the theater where the purpose of the creatures doing is exposed. He witnesses firsthand the crowd of rats awaiting a nearly-live viewing of the newest film exclusive to the theater, memories straight from the brain of its freshest victim.
