Director Statement

My directing teacher said to me that making a film with aliens is almost impossible in Romania. I took that as a challenge. I found the story on a conspiracy website, and it immediately reminded me of those alien encounter documentaries on Discovery. I knew I had to approach it in that style. With a small team, we embraced a guerilla filmmaking approach, shooting the entire project in just three days with a handycam and finishing post-production in a single night. When we showed the film at the exam, my teacher was amazed—he couldn’t believe we actually pulled it off.
