Anna Bohlmark is a documentary filmmaker, journalist and photographer based in Sweden. She founded Pelican Media, a media production company. She worked twelve years for Swedish health Magazine 2000-Talets Vetenskap both as a foreign correspondent and as a photographer. In 2016 she founded AlmaNova – a health magazine and website aiming at spreading information about natural health. She travels the world to interview with internationally renowned people in different fields. She has a degree in Media & communication and in 2010 she became a research fellow at China Communication University in Beijing. She speaks six languages including Swedish, English, Italian, Spanish, French and Chinese. In 2015 she completed a one year training in documentary filmmaking in Stockholm. She was also a student at Biskops Arno, one of Sweden´s most renowned schools for documentary filmmaking. Having lived half her life in different parts of the world she has a cosmopolitan perspective and communication skills. She hopes to combine an artist´s eye with a journalist´s curiosity and sense of storytelling in her visual style, resulting in a body of work she hopes will inspire the viewer to discover more.
