Director Statement

This film is one that has been two years in the making. A project that started off, in search of my own Portuguese roots. It quickly turned into a documentary I made with Sergio, a man I met while looking for an actor. From there the film transformed into this project which combines fiction and documentary filmmaking to tell this story.
