Joel Carr is a filmmaker living in Leamington Spa, England. Joel runs a video production company specialising in small business and corporate work. His imagination and creativity make visual storytelling very important to him so he creates and produces short films in his free time. His previous efforts have played at Comic Con and many other international film festivals. His last project, a documentary on his Polish grandfathers experience in the Polish militia in WW2 gained some recognition by being awarded semi finalist status at many festivals around the world.
With a few more shorts in development, looking to shoot next year, he is also planning on doing a feature length synth musical.
Sort of based on a true story - An Ode To My Dead Friend (Whom I miss dearly) is a horror/romance about a man losing control of himself when the paranormal becomes real.
