It's been a long journey making An Intervention, but I always stuck to my one mission statement throughout production: Make sure it's loose, and make sure it's fun. That's why the shooting style/aesthetic is doc-style and improvised, just like the dialogue. In fact, the only thing truly planned in the movie was the story beats, and character portrayals. As long as the cast and crew were enjoying themselves throughout the process, and the stakes never felt like life or death, it was a win for us. I'm so happy to share this story with all of you, which has a lot of humor but also a lot of heart. I think it's the best thing I've ever made...so far ;) It would mean the world to me and the wonderfully talented cast if you watched the film, and even more if you end up enjoying it. Thank you, and see you at the next one!
