Amy Nigro is a visual artist and poetic filmmaker that takes controversial issues and turns them into psychological thrillers. Her greatest inspirations include Carl Jung, Stephen King, Ari Aster, Gaspar Noe and Fredrico Fellini. Before her career in film, she studied zoology with an emphasis on primates and evolution, which eventually led her to anthropology and the evolution of human thought. With a developing passion for cultural change and the role that human awareness and empathy plays in this, Amy discovered the importance of storytelling and how film and visual media can impact the world.
