Michael Brandon Wright's love of film and television brought him down the path of pursuing filmmaking after realizing it was something he wanted to do, and was doing, for no reason other then the desire to create visual stories and share them. He has recently completed and received a BFA in Cinema/Television. He is a Writer/Director, Editor, and Actor. Amercon is the first true short film he has written and directed.
Creating or being part of creating stories is something I've always wanted to do. I dreamt of doing it. I never thought I would pursue it, but as I grew older, only being a spectator to visual stories wasn't enough. I felt I could contribute somehow, and I hope I can. There are many stories out there that I want to express to people, to entertain, enlighten, and pay homage to the people that inspired me.
