Born in Aberdeen, Scotland and based in London, Adam Cowie is an independent writer, director and producer, whose work blends dark comedy with grounded realism.
His films often explore flawed characters and moral ambiguity, finding humour in dark places and moments of tension.
He has written, directed and produced three short films, Always Bet on Black, Easy Does It and his latest, Mein Surname, which is currently screening on the UK and European festival circuit.
Adam has several projects in development, including a short documentary on the London comedy scene and is currently in pre-production for his next narrative film.
