Graduated with the honors with a master degree in Arts from Bourges's Fine Art School and with a bachelor degree in Arts from Lorient's Fine Art School. I'm also holder of a diploma in Make up from SLA Academy Paris. Charlotte is a multidisciplinary artist working in health, social and scholastic fields.
Driven by the desire to be an observer of the human experience, she documents and interprets various multicultural landscapes encountered throughout her journey as a nomadic artist. Her installations combine video, sculpture, sound, photography, 3D printing, and writing, and her work is based on field research, experiences, and direct encounters with subjects (research expeditions to places and communities). From the intersections of these different investigations, series or standalone works emerge, containing multiple scenes that summarize her discoveries, constructing complex narratives.
Fascinated by the challenge of translation in the arts and how it can transcend migrations beyond geographical borders, the identity-driven and intimate approach of her creative work has motivated her to use the camera and sound space as key elements in her work. It becomes a point of convergence between reality and representation, which, after undergoing various transformations and manipulations through editing, creates a moment closer to memory and representation than to reality.
