Director Statement

During the final moments of the world's existence, this woman has taken herself to her grandparents remote cabin. In the middle of her contemplation and reflection, she is interrupted by a radio call from a stranger, with whom she speaks with for the final minutes.
The film is centred around two themes— human connection and the importance of nature. These are what everything comes back to in the end. It was important to me when writing the film that the tone, and pace was soft and slow, but not soppy. It is not a happy ending nor is it a sad ending— it just ends.
