All Saints' Night
In some parts of Serbia, there is still a belief that the souls and apparitions of the deceased can be seen forty days after the Easter but only before dawn. In order not to dispel the spirits of the dead, those who have gathered at the graveyard try to be as quiet as possible in the dead of night, so the rite started to be called “silent” All Souls’ Day.
