Director Statement

All Eyes On You began as a slightly over-ambitious script that I didn’t pause to question until it was far too late — by which time the story had already demanded to be told. What started as a simple idea about a couple and their creepy neighbours quickly took unexpectedly personal root, drawing on experiences and emotions I hadn’t planned to share. Through an embarrassingly honest lens (which I hope audiences don't feel too examined by themselves), it became the most authentic and hopefully meaningful story I’ve ever tried to tell.

The script’s scale was daunting — a result of my complete disregard for whether it could actually be made at my still-developing level of filmmaking — but against all odds, we brought it to life exactly as I’d imagined in my wildest dreams. That was only possible thanks to a team of dozens of talented, generous collaborators who poured their time, skill, and creativity into the film without the comfort of a proper budget, and for many of us, while surviving the chaos of our final year at university. Despite any challenges we all had a superb time!

We’re all incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, and can’t wait to share it with you - Ted and the team behind ALL EYES ON YOU
