Private Project

Alice

Alice is living with Alzheimer’s Disease. Weaving together 8mm home movies shot by Alice with recent digital recordings, this short experimental documentary imagines where we go when we no longer exist in the present. Directed by Alice's daughter and edited by Alice's granddaughter, the making of this film was a collaboration between three generations of women.
